Regional Winner Awards - TICA Northeastern Region

We are beyond thrilled to share some wonderful news — QGCA Sparklecoon Lumi has officially earned her title this season as our second Regional Winner!

Coming out of one of the most competitive regions in the TICA world is no small feat. The bar is high, and for females competing against the boys, it's even higher. Yet Lumi rose to every occasion with grace and presence far beyond her years. In just 10 months, across only two shows — Toronto, Ontario and Sherbrooke, Quebec — she secured a ranking of 24th best alter in the 2025–2026 season. That is nothing short of remarkable.

What makes this achievement even sweeter is that Lumi is following in her daddy's pawsteps. Her father, our beloved stud RW SGC Sparklecoon Silver Pond, earned his own Regional Winner title in the 2024–2025 season — and it seems the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication of Lumi's owner, Catherine, who has poured her heart into every show. From meticulous grooming and careful socialization to long hours on the road, Catherine's commitment to Lumi has been extraordinary. We are so grateful to have her as part of the Sparklecoon family.

And the good news doesn't stop there.

To our complete surprise, Silver Pond himself made the rankings this season — earning the title of second best blue silver classic tabby with white Maine Coon after competing in just one show in Mississauga. We weren't chasing titles this year, so seeing him place from a single competitive appearance is a testament to just how exceptional he is.

Like father, like daughter. The Sparklecoon legacy lives on. 🐾
